This year we shall be wassailing the apple trees at the The Crown in Kelston to ensure the outstanding quality of the cider for the coming year.

The Weston Village Community Safety Action Group will be holding a public meeting at 7.30 pm at the Weston Parish Hall (opposite the King’s Head).

The Action Group has been in existence for about eight months. It is a-political and is supported by the Police, Somer Housing, Western Challenge, the Community Safety Team, and Youth and Community Service; membership of the group is currently made up of a mix of local residents/traders.

Anyone who lives or works in, or has a close connection with, Weston is very welcome.

The purpose of the meeting will be to give people a chance to raise issues with the local ‘professionals’, hear about what’s happening in the area, and share in making positive plans for future action in the Weston area.
