Events in Lancaster

Easter Maritime Festival: Annually from Good Friday to Easter Monday. This is a celebration of the Golden Age of Maritime trade in Lancaster. The festival features many themed entertainments, and a unique gathering of sea-songsters and shantymen.

National Music Weekend Celebrations: Annually in June at various venues in Lancaster and Morecambe.

Folklore Fiesta: Annually in mid-August. At various venues in Lancaster and Morecambe with free outdoor performances in Market Square.

Georgian Festival Fair: Annually on August Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday. A re-creation of the people and events of Lancaster in Georgian times. Featuring the National Sedan Chair Carrying Championships.

Fireworks Spectacular and Beacon Lighting: Anually on the nearest Saturday to 5th November in Vicarage Field.
