Spring Flower Show, Victoria Park. May Bank Holiday weekend.

Bath International Music Festival is launched with a candlelit procession from The Circus to the Royal Crescent, and a fireworks display in Victoria Park, followed by two weeks of events throughout Bath. May/June. Website

Fringe Festival. Usually held around the same time as the Bath International Music Festival in May/June. Website

World's Largest Duck Race from Pulteney Weir end-May.

Somerset County Cricket Festival, Recreation Ground mid-June.

Handmade in Bath, 19th-21st June 2009 and annually in mid-June. The contemporary crafts and design fair, at the Assembly Rooms, Bath. Open 11am-6pm.

Over the weekend of 29th - 30th July 2006, Bath will be hosting the Bath Sports Festival, which includes Rugby, football, hockey, cricket and cycling, as well as wheelchair events. Further information and tickets from www.bathsportsfestival.com .

Crafts at the Roman Baths, Early December. Whilst the Bath Christmas Market, with its hustle and bustle, is taking place outside in the adjacent squares, why not take time to browse (in the warm) for that special gift from items that will be displayed and for sale, all made by local craftsmen.
